As a Leader you have a commitment to deliver results. At the same time, as a Leader, you have a profound impact on the morale of your team. This is a phenomenal responsibility. In my workshop you will learn and practice skills that help you create great relationships and navigate proactively though the common challenges all teams face.  This is what great Leaders do in building their Winning Team. 

Equally, my workshop focuses on how you develop your own unique, Empowered Leadership style. There are as many different styles of Leadership as there are Leaders. Your actions as a Leader have a profound effect on the members of your team, their performance, your profits, your sales and your customer experiences. As you participate in the assignments and discussions you create a deeper understanding of your Leadership style and how it occurs for those you are leading.  Your values and beliefs are intimately linked to your actions and by expanding this understanding, you create your Personal and Empowered Leadership Style. 

As an effective Manager you have already learnt that to get results you must unsure you and your team are doing things right. Plans, Schedules, Systems, Processes, Check Lists: are all effective here. A strong team can only be built on a strong Foundation and thoughtful work must be  applied to this foundation. 

Management alone is not enough to achieve exceptional results. To achieve exceptional results your team must; commit to you as their Leader and your goals; commit to their performance; and commit to teamwork.  The reality is, this choice to commit lays in the team member. You can’t force commitment. By Learning and Practicing these concepts you will create an environment where commitment is much more likely to occur. And there is no stopping a team that is truly committed from achieving success. Your experience in my workshop will bring out, more of your best, at work and in your life.

Your facilitator, Nick Divincenzo

After being part of Earls Restaurants for 30 years and the last 4 years in the construction business with Sarina Homes, I have practiced and developed an expert knowledge of culture and leadership. Those that know me, know these three things about me. I Believe in People, I Live in
Possibility and I Thrive in Performance.

My leadership experience started in my youth. Being blessed with athletic ability, I played on many successful sports teams.  In sports I discovered: Being part of a Team, Love of Practice; Pride in doing my Best; and Patience in the pursuit of Perfection.

At 19 years of age, I found my way into the restaurant business and I excelled. My experiences in sports were easily transferable. I was quickly promoted through the ranks and within 3 years became a Regional Manager. I became an expert at opening new locations, creating sales and profits. These successes were achieved through the engagement of my team, excellent training systems and most importantly a focus on personal growth and development. I am privileged to have had the opportunity to train and develop so many great people into General Managers and Head Chefs. And I am honored to say that everyone I work with develops themselves into a better person and leader, but I just facilitate their ability to realize their potential. 

One key ingredient is ensuring Leaders were ready to persevere and focus their passion during those times when nothing is going right, and it seems that what you are going through is impossible.  I smile in these moments, knowing they will look back with pride on having work through the challenges and winning. If you are going to do anything worthwhile and meaningful in life you will experience this “stuck-ness”. Learn to embrace it and quickly shift to the creativity, grit and determination it takes to excel.

I use a transformative teaching style. The concepts are taught in a way where I create an experience that will help guide your future behaviour. I am personally invested in maximizing your engagement through my inspirations of; Believe in People, Live in Possibilities, and Thrive in Performance. 

The foundation to success I found in my youth has been refined into a system of building culture and engagement that I adapt to employees, managers, and owners. This system is transferable to other businesses, groups, organizations and teams.
